Jonathan Lo
 Seventeen year old Jonathan Lo is a Grade 12 Honour Roll student at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in North Vancouver. He has been studying cello with Audrey Nodwell at the Vancouver Academy of Music since he was four years old. Jonathan has received many scholarships and prizes in local festivals and national competitions including First Places at the National Finals of the Canadian Music Competition in 2002, 2005, 2006 and First Place in the strings division of the 2006 Canadian National Music Festival. He is also active in chamber music and last August his piano trio represented BC at the Canadian National Musical Festival and was awarded Second Place.
In 2003 Jonathan performed with the Philharmonia Northwest as a winner in the Concerto Competition of the Seattle Young Artists Music Festival. He was the featured soloist at the Vancouver Academy Symphony Orchestra Concert at the Orpheum Theatre in February 2006 and in June, he performed with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra as one of the winners of the 2006 Burnaby Clef Concerto Competition.
